Frito Pie Catering Company

  • Recipient of the Ministry of Small Business & Consumer Services (MSBCS) - Youth Entrepreneurship Partnerships (YEP) Grant

The Learning Disabilities Association of Lambton County, a proud recipient of a grant under the YEP program, has launched a new social enterprise, "Frito Pie Catering Company", to provide at-risk youth and those with disabilities in Lambton County entrepreneurial skills training and experiential learning.

Participants will meet on a regular basis and utilize business tools and self-assessments to help identify learning skills and strengths. After learning the "ins and outs" of producing and marketing the "Frito Pie" product, the youth will operate food booths around the County selling the famous Frito Pies.
